Director: Aaron Davidman

93 Minutes

Writer-actor Aaron Davidman embodies seventeen different characters in and around the city of Jerusalem as he takes us on an eye-opening journey into the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian story. Exploring universal questions of identity and human connection, this film challenges the audience to reconsider their views on the Israeli-Palestinian story in light of the film.

Aaron Davidman is a playwright, actor and director with more than a decade as a leader in both the fields of American Theatre and American Jewish Culture. Davidman is drawn to stories of ethnic history and cultural complexity that challenge our assumptions of the “other”. He served as the Artistic Director of Traveling Jewish Theatre from 2002-2011 where he wrote, directed, performed in and produced dozens of original plays reflecting Jewish identity and experience. Many of the plays included national tours. He’s hosted public conversations on numerous topics including the Israeli-Palestinean conflict, Israeli theatre, Jewish film, contemporary Jewish theatre, and arts and Jewish literature. He was a recipient of the Tikkun Award 2016 for his work on Wrestling Jerusalem.
